Jacques is the Principal and Founder of Accounting for Law. Jacques utilizes his 25+ years of industry experience to oversee all aspects of the company, ensuring that all clients’ needs are met at every level. Jacques takes the hands-on approach and specializes in all services we provide.
Alma Vasquez
AFL PARTNER
Alma has over 20 years of experience in managing law firms’ financial records. Alongside Alma’s extensive knowledge of many of the legal software, she has a degree and specialization in Accounting. Alma has expertise in preparing timely and accurate financial reports, monthly reconciliations for trust and general accounts, preparation and submission of T4’s, accounts payable, invoicing, collections and analysis. Alma goes the extra mile to instill confidence in her clients.
Tina Globocki
AFL PARTNER
Tina’s experience spans over twenty plus years in the legal industry, working first as a Legal Assistant and Office Manager and then as a Legal Bookkeeper. Tina has developed a passion for the field, which has driven her to become proficient with PCLaw, Cosmolex, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online. Tina specializes in Law Society compliance and Law Society Spot Audits as well as legal office management and organization. Tina manages the AFL offices in Georgina.
Yvonne Parry
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & PAYROLL
Yvonne is our Director of Operations & Payroll Specialist. She is a certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner and she brings great value to the team with her background in Project Management and Payroll. Yvonne has a clear understanding of the importance of law firms having a financial peace of mind and being compliant with the LSO and CRA. Yvonne is our main CRA liaison. She takes pride in her ability to problem solve, multi-task, and being a great leader. Her excellent communication skills and comprehensive payroll knowledge make her an asset to the team.
Diagnora Tiamo
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE
Diagnora has over 18 years of experience working as an Office Manager/Accounting for various boutique firms. She has been responsible for the internal AFL administrative duties. Her responsibilities include billing, account payables and receivables, client intake, scheduling appointments and client communication. Diagnora is instrumental in making sure that law firms have a quality experience with us. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Diagnora has been successful in her career by being passionate about her work and having a great attitude.

Jessica specializes in Cosmolex, Ghost Practice, rebuilds and migrations, day-to-day bookkeeping services, and spot audits. Jessica is an easy going, understanding individual and focuses on creating efficiencies for clients.

Amber Ireton

Amber attended Centennial College’s Law Clerk Program and was subsequently hired by the law firm where she completed her job placement. That was the beginning of a 15 year career in the legal field. Having spent most of that time managing a criminal and family law office, Amber gained extensive experience with all matters pertaining to the operation of a law office, including bookkeeping and the utilization of many legal softwares. Amber is a self-motivated individual who is committed to the highest standard of administrative performance.
Selvy Krishna

Slevy has 7 years of experience in processing payroll. Her history with quickbooks, and other accounting softwares proves that she is equipped for being a senior Payroll Specialist with Accounting for Law. Jackie has over 30 years of experience in the legal industry working as an Accounting and Office Manager for both small and mid-sized Law Firms. She is a self-motivated, meticulous, organized person with excellent communication, leadership and problem solving skills. Jackie specializes in year-ends, spot audits and managerial office tasks. She continues to successfully support many Law Firms through pre and post Law Society Spot Audits and is efficient in all legal softwares.
Zvonka Hortik

Zvonka has over 15 years of bookkeeping experience working in various legal roles. Her responsibilities have been analyzing accounts payable & receivables, financial reporting, payroll administration, and bank reconciliations. Janet spent 10 years in an Executive Director role before joining the AFL Team. Her previous business background has proven to be a great asset in learning the ins and outs of legal bookkeeping.
